Adult Services
Our Adult Services librarians provide programs, research assistance, and reference services for the adult community. The Adult Reference Desk is located in front of the Adult Computer Lab, to the right of the library’s main entrance.

The Mystery Book Discussion Group meets on the third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. This discussion is open to everyone. Registration is not required.

Book Club in a Bag
Margaret E. Heggan Free Public Library cardholders in good standing may borrow book club in a bag sets, which contain multiple copies of a popular adult book. See the Adult Reference Desk for our current titles.
Knitting and Crocheting Basics
Do you want to learn how to knit or crochet? Join us for a beginner’s class with volunteer Flora Bacchues. Please bring a skein of yarn and a set of size 8 knitting needles and/or an H or I crochet hook. This program is free and open to adults. Advance phone or online registration is required.

Zine Studio
Join us to create zines and connect with local artists! Blank zines, as well as collaging and drawing materials, will be provided, but feel free to bring your own supplies too. Printing and copy services available for your zine creations. Come and create zines in a collaborative, low-stress environment.
Jigsaw Puzzle Club
Are you a jigsaw enthusiast? Drop in for socializing and jigsaw puzzle fun. This event is free and open to adults. Advance phone or online registration is required.

Join us to learn to play the popular, fun game of Mahjong! If you have always wanted to learn, but didn’t know where to start, this is the place for you to start. This is “American Mahjong”.
Dungeons & Dragons
Join our social club and enjoy a round of role-playing adventures with some new friends! Bring your own character, create a new one, or embody an adventurer prepared for you in advance. New and veteran players welcome alike! Adventures are episodic, jump in at any time!
